In exciting news, the crew for the first crewed moon mission in five decades has been revealed. The quartet, consisting of NASA’s Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Jeremy Hansen of the Canadian Space Agency, is set to begin training for the historic Artemis II lunar flyby. This momentous mission is scheduled to take off in November 2024.

Let’s meet the astronauts! Reid Wiseman is a decorated naval aviator and test pilot with vast experience in spaceflight. He will serve as the commander of the Artemis II mission. Jeremy Hansen, a fighter pilot, is the first Canadian ever to travel to deep space. Victor Glover, an experienced naval aviator, returned to Earth from his first spaceflight in 2021 and is excited about humanity’s journey to Mars. Christina Koch, a veteran of six spacewalks, holds the record for the longest single spaceflight by a woman. Her expertise in electrical engineering and experience at the South Pole make her an invaluable addition to the team.

The Artemis II mission will build on the success of the Artemis I test mission. Our astronauts, strapped inside the Orion spacecraft, will launch atop a NASA-developed Space Launch System rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The mission is expected to last about 10 days and will take the crew beyond the moon, potentially further than any human has traveled in history.

After circling the moon, the spacecraft will return to Earth for a splashdown landing in the Pacific Ocean. This mission will pave the way for Artemis III, where NASA plans to put the first woman and person of color on the lunar surface.

Our company is proud to support the technology development required for such groundbreaking missions. We specialize in software outsourcing, nearshore and offshore development, mobile app development, technology maintenance, and server development. With our expertise and dedication to delivering top-notch solutions, we are confident in our ability to contribute to the success of Artemis III and future missions to Mars.

Stay tuned for an exclusive interview with the astronauts on “CNN This Morning” on Tuesday at 6 am ET. We look forward to witnessing this historic moment in human history and celebrating the achievements of these remarkable individuals.
