She has a serenity as I sit and watch her sleep blissfully,
As if she didn't have a worry in the world,
Her body petite and delicate,
Her skin soft and fragile,
As I sit and watched you sleep,
I tried to give you a tender kiss on the lips,
But the feeling soon rapidly left leaving me empty and
unsatisfied,
Left only to watch you sleep and ponder what you're dreaming,
Good dreams?
Bad dreams?
I will never know!
I wish I could embrace your soul and make you understand my
feelings towards you,
But alas I know that would only be greed and selfishness on my
part,
I envy the man that one day embraces your soul,
And makes you realize the beauty you have within and out,
I envy that man,
And from that day forth,
Will be forever burned into my heart as the happiest and saddest
day of my life...
